Terms & Conditions

Last updated: March 13, 2026  ·  Netoglobe · ctkid.com
Welcome to ctkid.com, operated by Netoglobe (Registered Business No. 033214446), Israel. By accessing or using this website or enrolling in the Coding Adventures program, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use this website or enroll in the program.
01

Overview of Services

Netoglobe provides online coding education for children ages 6–15 through the Coding Adventures program, which includes:

  • Live online classes conducted via Zoom
  • Pre-recorded video lessons made available after each class
  • An online community platform for students

Participation requires registration by a parent or legal guardian. By enrolling, the parent or guardian confirms they are at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.

02

Parental Responsibility and Account Control

All student accounts must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian. Login credentials are issued to the parent's email address and remain under parental control throughout the program. The parent is fully responsible for:

  • Supervising their child's use of the platform and attendance at live classes
  • Their child's conduct during classes and on the community platform
  • Any content posted or uploaded by the child
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials
  • Ensuring their child meets the minimum age requirement of 6 years
03

Program Structure and Enrollment

The Coding Adventures program runs for approximately 8 months, divided into three semesters:

  • Semester 1 – 3 months
  • Semester 2 – 3 months
  • Semester 3 – 2 months

Enrollment is made on a per-semester basis. Students may choose not to continue between semesters. Enrollment for any semester constitutes a binding commitment for that semester's duration and payment.

04

Free Trial Lesson

A complimentary trial lesson is offered prior to enrollment. This lesson provides a representative introduction to the program and its teaching style. Participation in the trial lesson does not obligate the parent to enroll.

05

Payments

Full payment for each semester is required prior to the start of that semester. Payments are processed through third-party providers including PayPal and Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize the applicable payment provider to process the transaction. Netoglobe does not store payment card information directly. All payment processing is subject to the terms and privacy policies of the respective payment provider.

06

Refund Policy

Given the availability of a free trial lesson and the clearly defined per-semester commitment structure, payments are non-refundable once a semester has commenced. No refunds will be issued for missed classes, partial attendance, or a student's voluntary withdrawal mid-semester.

07

Service Interruptions by Netoglobe

In the event that a scheduled class is canceled due to instructor unavailability or technical failure on Netoglobe's part, Netoglobe will reschedule the class at no additional cost, extending the semester accordingly. If rescheduling is not feasible, a pro-rated credit will be applied to the following semester or refunded at Netoglobe's discretion.

08

Missed Classes

If a student misses a live class, a pre-recorded video covering the session's material will be made available. Students may submit questions following their review of the video. No make-up sessions or refunds are provided for student absences.

09

Class Recordings and Privacy

Live classes are not routinely recorded. However, Netoglobe may record a class session for the following limited internal purposes: (a) to provide a personal review copy for an enrolled student who was unable to attend; (b) to allow the instructor to review and improve teaching materials based on student questions and interactions; and (c) for internal curriculum development and quality improvement.

By enrolling, parents provide advance consent for recordings to be made for any of these purposes. All recordings are strictly for internal use only, will never be published or shared publicly, and access is limited to Netoglobe staff directly involved in the program.

Note: Students and parents may not independently record any live session via any means.
10

Technology Requirements

Participation requires a functioning computer with a working camera and microphone, and a stable internet connection. Netoglobe is not responsible for interruptions or technical issues arising from the student's device, network, or third-party software (including Zoom).

During the program, students will be guided to install the following free third-party software:

  • Visual Studio Code (code editor)
  • FileZilla or similar FTP client
  • XAMPP (local server environment)

Students will also be guided to independently purchase a web hosting server (e.g., through Bluehost) as part of the curriculum. This cost is separate from program fees and is paid directly by the parent to the hosting provider. Netoglobe is not a party to that transaction and assumes no liability for issues arising from it.

Netoglobe assumes no responsibility for any damage, data loss, incompatibility, or other issues arising from the installation of software or configuration of third-party services. Parents accept full responsibility for their device and any software installed.

11

Student Conduct

Students are expected to behave respectfully toward all participants and instructors. The following conduct is strictly prohibited:

  • Bullying, harassment, or intimidation of any kind
  • Sharing, soliciting, or distributing personal information of other students
  • Posting offensive, inappropriate, or harmful content
  • Any attempt to disrupt, access without authorization, or damage the platform

In the event of a conduct violation, Netoglobe will notify the parent directly. Serious violations may result in immediate removal from a class session and, at Netoglobe's sole discretion, suspension or permanent termination of the student's account without refund.

12

User-Generated Content

Students may post text, code, links, and images within designated areas of the platform. Content in the community area is visible to other registered users. Content in the classroom section is visible to the instructor and enrolled classmates.

Students retain ownership of the content they create. By posting, the parent (on behalf of the student) grants Netoglobe a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and moderate that content within the platform for educational purposes.

Parents are responsible for reviewing and supervising the content their child posts. Netoglobe's moderation is conducted on a best-efforts basis and does not constitute a guarantee that all content will be reviewed. Parents are encouraged to report inappropriate content to support@ctkid.com.

13

Intellectual Property

All course materials, pre-recorded videos, curriculum, lesson plans, and platform content are the exclusive intellectual property of Netoglobe. Parents and students may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or redistribute course materials
  • Share or publicly post recorded or written course content
  • Use course content for commercial purposes
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract platform content
14

Independent Instructors

Some classes may be led by independent contractors engaged by Netoglobe. Netoglobe supervises all instructors and takes responsibility for the quality and appropriateness of instruction delivered through the program. Netoglobe does not guarantee that the same instructor will teach throughout the entire program.

15

Program Completion and Diploma

Students who complete the full program may receive a digital diploma. Diplomas are issued for personal use and recognition only.

If Netoglobe offers to publish a student's diploma (including their name or photo) on the ctkid.com website or any public-facing channel, this will be subject to a separate, explicit written consent form provided to the parent at that time. No diploma, name, or image of a student will be published publicly without such separate consent. Parents may decline public publication and still receive the diploma for private use.

16

Educational Disclaimer

Netoglobe makes no guarantee of specific educational outcomes, skill levels, or results from participation in the program. Learning outcomes depend on individual student effort, aptitude, and consistent attendance.

17

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Netoglobe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of the website, platform, or participation in the program, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data or content
  • Device damage or data loss arising from software installation
  • Third-party service failures (including Zoom, Bluehost, PayPal, or Stripe)
  • Interruption of internet or platform access

Netoglobe's total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by the parent for the current semester in which the claim arose.

18

Email Communications

By enrolling, parents consent to receive transactional communications from Netoglobe related to the program (e.g., class schedules, platform updates, and billing notices). Netoglobe may also send marketing communications regarding future programs or offerings. Parents may opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any such email or by contacting support@ctkid.com. Opting out of marketing emails does not affect transactional communications.

19

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall first be submitted to good-faith negotiation between the parties. If unresolved, the dispute shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of a mutually agreed arbitration body. Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking injunctive or emergency relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

20

Modifications to Terms

Netoglobe reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on the website with a revised date. Continued use of the platform or participation in the program after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
